Automatic and Manual High Vacuum Valves “TAV” Series
Shut-off and isolation valves from Ø 50 to Ø 63 to Ø 150 mm featuring certified ATEX configurations for safe high-vacuum systems
High-performance shut-off valves engineered to optimize the efficiency of industrial high-vacuum installations. The TAV 50 and TAV 63 series is installed directly at local extraction points, whereas the TAV 100 and TAV 150 series are used primarily as main shut-off valves in the principal pipe system (pp. 1, 3). Designed to ensure maximum operational safety, the product range includes ATEX certified models specifically developed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (pp. 1, 3). By opening and closing according to operational needs, they concentrate maximum suction power only where required, substantially lowering energy costs, vacuum unit wear, and noise levels.
Complete range available in 50 mm, 63 mm, 102 mm, and 150 mm diameters.
Dual function: localized extraction management or main pipe system isolation.
Maximizes extraction power with substantial energy and operational savings.
Manufactured using high-quality conductive plastic (TAV 50 and TAV 63 range).
ATEX Certified Category 3D models suitable for Zone 22 installation.

Product Features
Design Features
- At-source extraction (TAV 50 and TAV 63): Automatic or manual control directly on pneumatic tools, electrical tools, or welding torches via microswitches and current sensors
- Main line isolation (TAV 100 / TAV 150): Used as central shut-off valves in primary ductwork to isolate specific pipe sections or the entire vacuum unit
- Safe process automation: Pneumatic remote-controlled, electrical, or manual lever-operated options, featuring structural ATEX protection for classified areas
Applications
- At-source extraction: Direct connection to welding torches, electrical tools, or portable pneumatic tools to capture dust right at the point of origin.
- Main distribution lines: Used as isolation valves to shut off entire piping branches or unused secondary ducts within the central vacuum system.
- Explosion-risk ATEX environments: Safe installation in classified ATEX Zone 22 industrial areas for intercepting combustible dust.
- Factory automation: Integration into automated production lines where vacuum activation must be electrically or pneumatically synchronized with the machine cycle.
